Sawaka Katalyna was born in Japan and raised in Mexico until the age of 18. She later returned to Japan after graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying biology. Able to speak in Japanese, English, and Spanish fluently, Sawaka composes and sings in all three languages. She sang the Mexican National Anthem at a Women’s World Cup Qualifiers Match in the National Yoyogi Stadium.
In addition to musical performances she also MCs, acts, radio DJs, has reported on TVs, and narrates. Sawaka’s passion lies in serving as a bridge between multiple cultures through her activities.
Recently she sings the commercial song for Tokyu X ANA card!
