Bio

Sawaka Katalyna was born in Japan and raised in Mexico until the age of 18. She later returned to Japan after graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying biology. Able to speak in Japanese, English, and Spanish fluently, Sawaka composes and sings in all three languages. She sang the Mexican National Anthem at a Women’s World Cup Qualifiers Match in the National Yoyogi Stadium.

In addition to musical performances she also MCs, acts, radio DJs, has reported on TVs, and narrates. Sawaka’s passion lies in serving as a bridge between multiple cultures through her activities.

She released her long-awaited first album in September, 2013 and it is available on CD baby, iTunes, and amazon around the world!

Her single over everything is also available on itunes worldwide. She was also the cast of Amazing Race Asia Season 2!

Recently she sings the commercial song for Tokyu X ANA card!
